Marta Ramos

Marta Ramos (1990, Porto) is a graphic designer, visual artist and performer. Graduated in graphic design, master in Communication Design by ESAD (Matosinhos), with a dissertation entitled “Of registration as a choreographic condition in design: experience, notation and performance”. In 2017, she completed the Postgraduate Specialisation Course in Performance at FBAUP (Porto). The same year, she presented the performances “Gesture on paper” and “Gesture on wall”, in which she investigates the possibilities of transference between design and performance. In 2018/19, she attended the Advanced Creation Program in Performing Arts (Forum Dança, Lisbon), curated by Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz, where she developed the piece “A body that hides also stands”. In April 2020, the musical project ZIMA (developed in partnership with Sara Zita Correia) was awarded the creation grant of the OUT.RA Association (Barreiro). She currently lives and works between Porto and Lisbon.
