coexistimos [we coexist] is a collage of metaphors about the challenge of being just one and wanting to be so many. Being both the tiger and the tamer, a sad clown and a fit of laughter, living in multiple bodies, wanting to become the reality of one’s dreams. Like a wave in the sea, moving through temporary states and being fully present in each of them. Wandering is an end in itself, a frenzy so good it feels like magic.
It expresses a firm belief that the arts are promiscuous and enjoy each other’s company. It has dance, theatre, cinema, object manipulation, architecture in motion, and various artifices that attempt to create a succession of illusions.
It takes the form of 11 tableaux, with languages that strive to remain autonomous and safe from mutual contamination, emerging like pop-ups, severing ties with the previous block and anticipating nothing of what is to come.
