Synopsis

f i o ^ is an intimate journey through the deepest recesses of our minds. It delves into the internal narratives and dialogues, questioning how they shape our way of perceiving life.

f i o ^ is a path of discontinuities, where the voiceover lends a diary-like tone, almost hesitant about the relevance of confession, but confident in the scenic poems that allow for sublimation.

In a search for word-images that are keys to understanding moments and expectations in our history, f i o ^ is an ode to the small, to magic, attention, detail, simplicity, and the passage of time. The work presents a character who brings along a shadow hat, a companion crocodile, a collection of curtains, and a light that becomes voice. Inês transforms the stage into a palace with a view of the audience’s sea, ready to welcome those who beg to be heard.
