It is an archive we create about hands.<\/p>\n<p>Composed of selected tracks from soundtracks for dance, theater, and cinema made by Grilo, and a growing collection of photographs of hands captured by Jo\u00e3o Hasselberg, this journal is an ongoing effort to document the history and details of personal gestures. It&#8217;s about celebrating multiplicity, the reading of hands, the hands that work, the ones that wave, the ones that ask, the hand as a symbol, idea, doubt, and form.<\/p>\n<p>Live, they present this journal in the form of a concert\/installation, where Grilo sings, plays piano and electronics, and Jo\u00e3o Hasselberg projects an endless archive of hands that envelop the space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THEORIES is a symbolic, sonic, and visual journal.
