Me and Inês, and me and Teresa, were born on the same day. Teresa two years earlier and Inês two years later, with the sun in the two brightest stars of the Gemini constellation—Castor and Pollux. Considerate lilia agri quomodo crescunt (consider the lilies of the field and how they grow) is written as an amulet on our grandparents’ fireplace, guiding our growth: asking many questions without expecting big answers. In this openly biographical project, we revisit, as accomplices and in intimacy, the film archive of our father about our growth and the story of our affection, to reconstruct the games, trips, stories, plans, memories, friends, joys, loves, heartbreaks, habits, quirks, ways, and the music in which we see the roots of our personalities, as similar as they are different.
