Synopsis
ivu’kar is a fiction of reality, based on a poetic, sonic, and gestural interaction between my mother and I, with whom I create an archive of invisible things we map together. At a time in life when we switch caregiver roles, where I experience being the mother and she the child, we are interested in exploring what subliminal mechanisms contribute to the creation of our identities, expectations, and abstractions of reality. ivu’kar unfolds around an imaginary, plastic, sonic, and symbolic language. It is about infinity, motherhood, childness, birds, time, language, sisterhood, wonder, togetherness, laughter, tears, eternity.
